About Me
Welcome, I’m Janette.
I am a UKCP and BACP registered integrative and trauma-informed psychotherapist, working with adult individual clients and couples, both in person in Nottingham and remotely via Zoom. I offer a welcoming, non-judgmental space where you can pause, reflect, and explore your experiences with care and attention.
Whether you are facing something overwhelming, navigating long-standing patterns, experiencing life changes, or processing the impact of past or recent events, I aim to provide a calm, steady presence. Together, we can explore your experiences, support healing, and create space for resilience and new possibilities.
My approach is grounded in a relational and developmental model, recognising how early relationships and life experiences shape how we connect with ourselves and others. I draw on evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, Parks Inner Child Therapy (PICT), and intuitive trauma work, blending them in a way that responds to your unique needs.
I welcome clients with diverse identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences. I have experience in supporting clients exploring neurodivergence, including ADHD, autism, and Tourette’s. My work is informed by certified training in working therapeutically with adults with ADHD+
I have a particular interest in supporting clients who are preparing for, or recovering from, life-changing or life-saving surgery, particularly where identity, body image, and emotional adjustment become an important part of the experience.
Whether this is your first time reaching out or you are returning to therapy after a break, you are very welcome here.
